Yashika M. Stewart-McDaniels aka Shika My'Chelle

An extraordinary woman with a passion for empowerment and community service, Yashika wears many hats, each reflecting her unwavering dedication to making a positive impact.

Who is Yashika?

• Child of God: Grounded in her faith, she shapes her worldview and actions through spirituality.
• Flawed Human Being: Embraces imperfections, seeing them as essential for growth and authenticity.
• Kingdom Builder: Actively advances God's kingdom through her various missions and endeavors.
• Wife, Mother, Friend: A nurturing presence, offering steadfast support to her loved ones.
• Business Owner: As the Founder and CEO of INSPIRE By Shika My'Chelle LLC, she passionately promotes empowerment and self-care.
• Nonprofit Organization Founder: Founded Beautifully Unique Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to youth and community support.
• Breast Cancer Warrior: Despite facing such a tough diagnosis (in Nov. 2023) and undergoing major surgery (Jan. 2024), her unwavering faith, infectious laughter and smile has been a beacon of hope and courage. Her belief that God is in control is not just a mantra but a powerful testament to her strength and determination. 
• Singer, Poet, Product Creator, Writer: Channels her creativity through music, poetry, inspirational messages, creating self-care products, etc. She's also a Future Author
• Mentor, Event Planner: Provides guidance and organizes events that inspire positive change within communities.

She is on a mission to inspire and uplift, especially those who feel misunderstood or marginalized. She passionately believes in the power of authenticity and encourages everyone to embrace their unique identities and strengths.

"It is important for people to get to know ME as my authentic self, while also using my voice to encourage and inspire others. I pride myself on being transparent and a voice of the people. Those that are misunderstood, broken, forgotten, overlooked, rebellious, free spirits, misfits... those that have never 'fit in'! The truth is we were never created to FIT IN, we were created to STAND OUT!"

• The Phoenix Award: From the Town of Babylon in March 2015, for her significant contributions to the community and youth.
• Woman of Distinction Award: Presented by Assemblywoman Kimberly Jean-Pierre in March 2017 for her outstanding community service.
• The Martin Luther King Jr. Award: Awarded by Holy Trinity Baptist Church's Scholarship Ministry in January 2020 for her impactful community and youth work.
